Welcome to Meow to Wow’s Terms & Conditions. This page outlines the policies and procedures that ensure a seamless grooming experience for your beloved cat. Please review these terms carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities as you prepare for our grooming services.
Terms and Conditions for Meow to Wow Grooming Services
All grooming appointments take place at Sharon’s home-based grooming studio in Springfield, Chelmsford.
Booking and Deposit Requirements
A deposit of £25 is required to secure all bookings. This deposit must be paid within 24 hours of scheduling an appointment. Failure to make this payment within the specified timeframe will result in the automatic cancellation of the appointment.
In instances where the client or the cat is not present at the scheduled appointment time, the full cost of the appointment remains due.
Payment for Appointments
The balance for grooming services must be settled in full upon completion of the appointment, before the client and their cat leave Sharon’s premises.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please give at least 72 hours’ notice wherever possible.
Cancellations made with 72 hours’ notice or more will qualify for a refund of the £25 deposit, or the deposit can be transferred to a rescheduled appointment.
Appointments cancelled or rearranged with less than 72 hours’ notice will be charged at the full grooming appointment fee, with the £25 deposit deducted from the amount payable.
This is because each appointment is reserved specifically for you and your cat, and short-notice cancellations are often very difficult to refill.
Sharon may use her discretion in exceptional circumstances.
Health and Safety Guidelines
To ensure the safety of both the groomer and the pet, clients are required to disclose any known aggressive behaviour or pre-existing health conditions of their cat in the booking form.
The groomer will inform the client of any health concerns identified during the grooming session. Meow to Wow assumes no liability for any health issues that are discovered or exacerbated as a result of the grooming process.
Should the groomer encounter conditions requiring veterinary attention, the client will be promptly notified, and the appointment may be halted for the wellbeing of the cat. Nevertheless, the full appointment fee is payable under these circumstances.
The groomer reserves the right to terminate the appointment at any time to safeguard the health and safety of both the groomer and the cat.
By booking an appointment with Meow to Wow, clients agree to adhere to these terms and conditions, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory grooming experience for all parties involved.
